It's Like Being a Publisher and Never Reading the Paper... It would be unheard of for a publisher, editor, advertising director or other senior level executive to never read the newspaper. In fact, it would be irresponsible and even grounds for termination. So why is it acceptable for so many in our industry to avoid social media? I am amazed at how many publishers and other top managers simply refuse to participate in any kind of meaningful way.
